Dark skies…

storm clouds

Overcast skies.

2 eggs in the grass

A morning dove nest in the prairie, partially hiden under arched grasses.

Today opened to gloomy skies, but the birds were singing their little hearts out. There was a chipmunk poking its head out of a hole near the back door and I saw a meadowlark perched on a fence post along the prairie. Additionally Lilly I have flushed a morning dove out of the grass along the path in the prairie the past several days. After the third day I started looking for a nest. Yesterday there was 1 egg, today there were 2 eggs, tomorrow will there be 3?
